If eligible, we will book the patient for the next available UCATS virtual clinic and MDT. At present, these happen on the first Monday afternoon of each month.
Depending on the circumstances, the clinicians may be given a dial in link to be used before, during and/or after the patient’s appointment to ensure the case can be thoroughly discussed and the patient is provided with the best information by the most appropriate discussion at time. You will be told what time to access the appointment. We may arrange for clinicians with additional expertise to be present.
A letter is sent to the patient and their healthcare professionals detailing the discussions on the day.
The case my be scheduled for further discussion and the patient may be given further appointments
The patient will also be given an open appointment in case of further concerns and need for review.
What if its urgent?
Our mailbox is monitored regularly but our clinic and MDT operate only monthly at present.
